Linda Kay Kinnaird Barlow

Linda Fay Kinnaird Barlow, 73, went home to live with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at TJ Samson Hospital where she was surrounded by many family members. Linda was born on January 3, 1951, in Glasgow, KY to Richard Timothy (R.T.) and Lovie Clark Kinnaird.
Preceding her in death were her parents; maternal grandparents, Emmitt and Velma Clark; paternal grandparents, Walter (Jakie) and Beulah Kinnaird; aunts, Opal Clarke and Lolar Clarke; uncles, Herman Clark and Lindbergh Clark; and great-aunt, Mary A. Clark.
Linda gave her life to Jesus at 11 years of age. She was a devoted member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church and served multiple roles in the church, such as Secretary and Treasurer. She was a 1968 graduate of Metcalfe County High School.
Linda attended Bowling Green Business College and received a Secretarial Degree. She worked a brief time at The Metcalfe Co. Library and Linda recently retired from Edmonton State Bank where she had been happily employed for 50 years. Linda was a kind and giving person who was well-loved and respected by everyone she met. Linda was well known for her card ministry, as many will share that they could always count on her to send a card no matter the occasion. She also enjoyed photography and spending time with her family, friends, and her puppies “Sassy, Foxy, and Teddy”.
Those left to cherish her memory are her spouse, LeRoyce Barlow; a precious and cherished daughter, Danielle Barlow (Poppy Franklin); grandsons, Jaden and Tristan Franklin; stepdaughter, Mary Pool (Todd) and her son Dylan; her only sister, Judy Walker (Tommy); a beloved niece, Nickki Walker; great nephew and niece, Nikos Ragland and Jelani Walker.
She also leaves behind in-laws, several cousins, nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many treasured friends, too numerous to count.
In lieu of flowers, please consider small cash gifts to the Beech Grove Cemetery Fund. Donations envelopes, addressed to Judy Walker, will be available at the funeral home for anyone who would care to donate.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home with burial in the Beech Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and will continue on Saturday after 10:00 a.m. at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
