Fran Wells

CHALYBEATE – Fran Wells, age 75, departed this life on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Fran was born on September 8, 1948, to the late Nelson Franklin and Hattie Mae Hennion Wells.

Fran was the kind, gentle voice that many heard answering the calls at R & R Heating and Air Conditioning.  Prior to working with her family at R & R, she worked for many years as a receptionist at American National Bank. She loved to travel, bargain hunt at yard sales, and spend time with her cherished family. Fran was a member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory— her siblings, Rex Wells (Veronica) and Diane Lawson (Nick) all of Chalybeate; nephews, Jonathan Lawson (Lacie), Ross Wells (Megan), and Nathan Wells; nieces, Cynthia Luttrell and Holly Beth Hayes (Bret); along with several great-nephews and nieces.  Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her nephews, Chris Lawson and Alex Browning Wells.

Interment will be in Renfro Cemetery.
